Founded in 2022, Honeylush Hotel started with breeding Golden Retrievers providing an ideal opportunity to create a fun, stimulating and safe environment for people to leave their much loved dogs in a home from home environment.

We understand that owning a dog is a 24 hour a day responsibility. Sometimes, work, social commitments and much needed time away mean that we need to leave our much-loved dog in the care of someone else. This can sometimes be a difficult decision to make but leaving your dog with us provides so many benefits.

We vet each dog to ensure that they will be a happy addition to our family. Each dog is assessed for social skills, aggression and flight instinct, and most importantly, to see if they want to be a part of our family.

We consider whether your dog is right for our environment and whether the environment is right for your dog.

Doggy Day Care & Boarding in Chesterfield

Safe, convenient exercise for your bestie

All dogs visiting Honeylush Hotel must be fully vaccinated, wormed and free from flea’s. Vaccination records must be provided to ensure the well being of other visiting dogs, our dogs, us and our home.

All dogs will wear one of our tags with our contact details from their arrival until departure. If your dog has medical issues please discuss these with us. We are happy to administer drops or tablets when necessary but please note we are not medical trained. Our vet is Prime vets and is available 24/7 for emergency call outs. Please note that any such invoices accrued with our vets must be settled when collecting your dog.

In order to avoid any tummy upsets during your dogs stay at Honeylush Hotel please provide your dogs own food and also treats if necessary. All we ask is that the food is clearly labelled and that you provide us with clear measuring instructions so that we know exactly how much to feed. Our dogs are fed twice daily but we can give extra feeds for puppies or dogs needing more portions.

Please bring your dogs own bed/bedding etc. and any other comforts your dog may need whilst he stays with us. Own collars/leads/harnesses to be sent with the dog also.

Dog Play Date

Three hours of exercise, social time & companionship. This service is extremely popular so please book in advance.

Full Day Care

Drop off your dog in the morning between 8am and 9am whilst you work, shop, run errands etc. They will receive great care and fun all day.

At Honeylush Retrievers we are a small family run establishment with a big heart and specialise in breeding Golden retrievers.

All our dogs are Kennel Club registered and boast impressive five generation pedigrees. As well as offering our Golden retriever girls and Golden retriever stud dogs, we will also have puppies available which are raised to the highest standards and inline with all current regulations.

All of our dogs are brought up with children and are excellent with other dogs and animals. They are incredibly loyal and loving with fantastic temperaments you would expect from a golden retriever.

We have been registered with the Kennel Club for a considerable amount of time under the name Honeylush and we specialise in Golden Retrievers. We are committed to providing our puppies with the most loving and luxurious start to life, we proudly go above and beyond the classic standards of dog breeding.
